🛖 Over two years, an intercommunal crisis unfolded: huts were burned at night, markets became unsafe, and both communities lost access to their livelihoods.
While in search of a safe place to resettle, the displaced civilians did not realize that they settled on farmland that the host community depended on for food and income.
🆕 As a result of deadly landslides that struck Bushushu and Nyamukubi villages in 2023, nearly 794 households fled to the Katashola plantation in Muhongoza village, located in Kalehe, #DRC.
