Never download and run a program someone sends you. Even if you know them. Even if you know they make programs.
If you really think you need to run it, give them a quick call so they can tell you in their own voice.

As I see more friends fall victim to this discord hack, I remind people that if someone asks you to download their new game out of the blue, right now, because it will only take a couple minutes, after "catching up" for a minute
It's a hack, and they will take over once you download that file.
