I’m not not sad. HNIC was part of my Saturday nights even before I was born. 20 people every week in Grandma’s shoebox size living room in the Junction. My nostalgia is deep. But the NHL has become intolerable and even my nostalgia can’t blind me to its faults.

No reason to end HNIC just because the NHL took the puck and went home. Air the PWHL in the slot, air some junior. Lots of hockey that can be highlighted on Saturday Nights.
