PyPI hit over 1 million users and it's maintained by a team of just a few people. I talked to Maria Ashna about what that actually looks like: clearing a 500+ ticket backlog, handling edge cases nobody thinks about, and what are PyPI organizations. Episode link is in the first comment.
Big thanks to Šárka Štrossová and the rest of the organizing team for putting together such a great event, and to Steven Wright for listening to my talk weeks in advance and providing invaluable feedback that helped me improve it. This was a fun event!

PyCon US was amazing! And California is such a beautiful place! 🌴 I got to give a talk on how dictionaries actually work under the hood. We also had a booth with the EuroPython, so I spent a lot of the conference just chatting with people.
