I am forever annoyed about this, that movie did everything you could possibly want in an adaptation
it was made by people who understand what makes tabletop gaming great and somehow made it work on screen and it should have made a billion dollars
if bloated darkrai can cause connection timeouts, the queue system collapsing, server errors, and ultimately the site being put into maintenance mode, the 30th is incredibly cooked
actually i kinda *do* think using genAI should be such a social faux pas that the user is marked as a pariah and no longer feels welcome in the community. "AI is bad" is no longer an abstract (it never was), my city has been under a boil water advisory for a week because of AI data centers
