Following a consultation, the Department of Health and Social Care will implement its proposals to reduce the statutory scheme's headline payment percentage for 2026 and beyond to 16.5%, maintaining broad commercial equivalence with the Voluntary Scheme. www.gov.uk/government/c...
The department also plans to launch an alternative approach to consulting on future adjustments, using direct engagement through workshops with industry and patient groups. Importantly, this still includes an option to submit written evidence, ensuring anyone has the opportunity to have their say.
