I chased after action thrills with The Rock squaring off with The Walken, tried something different with Arnold flexing acting muscles, passed Go & collected $200 with a surreal short, and delighted over David Lynch's eccentricity.

It's Friday, & you know what that means: THE SUBSTANCE, but with bugs, a dose of beach blanket boredom, an effective, moody, horror film, and more than 10 years on, a pandering legacy sequel looks almost quaint compared to the shit we get now.
