Known for other things but mainly use this to talk about video games to be honest with you.

To be fair, Burnham would fit quite well into the Christopher Eccleston Doctor Who model and a northern Bond would be a more interesting departure from Craig than some of those names mooted.
Conference will be set up as a triumphant moment but could behind the scenes be the beginning of a more fraught and consequential event. For this year at least, the fundraising element from third parties will probably go back up to '24 levels given appetite to engage team Burnham. Afterwards though?
That black cab driver tomorrow to every single one of his passengers: "You'll never guess who I had in the back there yesterday!"
"I don't care if there's a tree on the line at Milton Keynes, get a team out there and move it by hand if you have to!"

There will be more stakeholders for Number 10 to consider, especially on controversial areas, not just the PLP. The internal challenge to things may be felt earlier and harder unless there is a far more open attitude across the party. Also likely some of the big HQ jobs change a lot too by year end.
What might Burnham mean for internal Labour Party governance? I would expect the NEC to shift comfortably to Burnham backers given number of leadership spots, and CLPs and unions to follow. However, will likely give wider Labour movement a greater sway on those bodies and at conference.
If you are going to track Burnham's journey overhead when he's not even going to the Palace today, they better be prepared to do this until he does. I want helicopter tracking when he nips out to the pass office to having a cheeky victory pint at the Red Lion.
British PM: Vacant James Bond: Vacant Doctor Who: Vacant If the King disappears in the next couple of weeks I think we may sink into the ocean.
Has the Avanti comms department ever had a more stressful day?
