Following the Xbox Games Showcase and Xbox CEO Asha Sharma proudly declaring the return of Xbox Console Exclusives, rumors have been swirling that Xbox will backtrack on the declaration, with some forum posters claiming the whole thing was just a PR stunt. "These rumours are false", says newly crowned Xbox Chief Strategy Officer Matthew Ball. These rumors are false. Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution will stay exclusive. There are no conversations and have been no conversations to "reverse course." And as we said last week, players can continue to expect signature exclusives from us every year.

DON'T NOD, the development team behind games like the original Life is Strange, Jusant and Aphelion are running out of funds, and publishing giant Tencent - who own a minority stake - no longer wish to fund the studio further. As such, the French developer is expected to run out of cash by November this year. The information comes from a recent disclosure found here, and we've had relevant sections translated via machine translation. As of April 13th this year, the company's cash on hand totalled €8.8Million, and DON'T NOD had been pursuing additional financing and that 'all options are being considered'.
