On this day in 1995 Congo was released. Loosely based on the book by Michael Crichton, it stars Laura Linney, Dylan Walsh, Ernie Hudson, Grant Heslov, Joe Don Baker and Tim Curry. In spite of a pretty decent cast , it is a ridiculous film.
