Highly recommend reading this blog post. Ive made it my goal for next year to learn from this and not overwork myself & let myself actually enjoy the con as well as working it.
Also we desperately need to improve public transport for disabled people but that's a whole other point.

I have run more combats in more systems than I can count, and my one universal piece of advice to make them fun is: JUST KEEP ROLEPLAYING!
- Have the enemies talk shit, taunt, joke, monologue, confess!
- Ask how PCs feel! Why?
- Make actions emotion driven! Hatred! Fear! Jealousy! Envy! Love!
