Wes Streeting might want to reflect on how our dependence upon the world's oil dealers is working for our nation's defence
I know Calvin’s dad is already having a moment, but every terrible “outsource precious and fleeting moments with your children to tech so that you can spend more time on your work” pitch makes me think of that one strip I never really cared about as a kid, but care a lot about as an adult.

“The [Cass Review’s] insistence on hyper-specificity is a data-fudging technique known as ‘salami slicing’. It’s known to encourage malpractice and is warned against specifically in the Cochrane Handbook — the ‘gold standard’ guide for systematic reviews.”
It was engineered to deny trans kids! 😣
What was it that first attracted the comically malicious far right crank Bari Weiss to (checks notes) the former head of the British national equality body, who (checks notes again) has been paid for years to tell people the far right are not racist and saying they are is divisive, is this correct
BTW if you're wondering if orbital data centers are possible: each GPU rack of four H100 server boards requires a radiator the size of a pickleball court. An actual AI data center will require thousands of them. If Musk moved Colossus to space, it'd need radiators the size of Disneyland (1.4m m^2).

With the full caveat that I have never managed a govt dept, as Wes Streeting knows very well having been health secretary, investment in active travel *pays for itself many times over* in better public health outcomes etc. Cutting investment is often a false economy, as the UK knows to its cost.

Trains may be delayed after the bridge collapse on the West Coast Main Line, National Rail says.

It's rare the canary hits but this article hits bullseye. An amazing summary of where we are with trans youth medicine, from the bias of Cass to the bans for under 18s and how the UK falsifies studys, great way to on board new people about this
