I think my biggest question about this documentary from 20 years ago is “Why the fuck didn’t they interview Daniel? Daniel was alive and well in 2005. Why are they acting like he wasn’t around? Why talk about him in the past tense?”

I’m a huge Daniel Johnston fan, but I’ve never seen the documentary about him, The Devil and Daniel Johnston, so it seems like it’s time.
