Looks like #indieDev visibility went from insanely tough to impossible. Steam just slashed pop upcoming and made it "big games that don't need more visibility". Indies went from 10-20 global front-page slots a day they knew how to get into to 2 personal slots that are a blackbox. Well, yikes. 🥲

Cozy games are escapist fantasies, okay. But please keep in mind this is NOT how it works at all. Cows are forcefully and constantly impregnated. They have their babies taken away, so we can take the milk. When they're irreversibly exhausted, they're killed (or go to a sanctuary if super lucky).
