1. We need to know how and why this happened tomorrow, and have a proposed solution to prevent it.
2. We need to immediately spin up a Vision Zero Response Team with more funding than the 2026 graffiti abatement budget.
Streetcrafting
Seattle needs immediate rapid response to vision zero. When someone is killed or seriously injured in a traffic collision, a rapid semi-permanent remediation must be installed/deployed at the site to make sure it never happens again. Paint and signal re-timing is not sufficient.
