Was talking to friends, one has an EV, partner has a PHEV, live in an apartment, partner saw an ad for the EX60 and got exited until they found out it was an EV. Keep in mind there’s already one EV in household and it’s doing fine.
I’d wager most EV reluctance is laziness.
These press materials out of China always get me, just, what?

This is escalating so fast I'm going to need to start a thread about Chinese brands taking over factories in Europe.
I'll call it, Europe and Mexico, how to get affordable Chinese EVs in the hands of your citizens and actually entice production vs U.S. and Canada (save the BYD bus factory in CA).
Can’t think of the last time I’ve seen this amount of genuine organic enthusiasm around a van specifically because it’s so affordable in segment.
I talk to folks often, very upset about the war and its impact, with the financial means to install solar and upgrade to an EV but don’t because FUD/WOKE.
When I first bought an EV over a decade ago the why I gave people was wars for oil, they were confused… more seem to get it now.
