I feel like nu-Doom kinda gradually lost its identity over time; like 2016 had it's own distinct look and feel, followed by Eternal were they REALLY wanted you to know that Doom was in fact a retro franchise, culminating in Dark Ages which feels like Masters of the Universe as told by Zack Snyder.
