I recently finished working on this cover for a new picturebook I am illustrating. Guess who’s it about? Written by Mark Haayema and publisher Rubinstein. Part of the ‘Golden Bible Stories’. At this moment I am working on the inside illustrations.

I’m flipping through my first Little Golden book, Sammie is zoek! (Sammie is missing!) which marks a decade since its release. This one is special as its my debut as an author/ illustrator. I drew inspiration from midcentury LGB artists hoping I’ve honored their legacy. @andreabrownlit.bsky.social
Another Daantje Dirigentje finished illustrating. Nr5 in the series. Eventhough it is quite a task to make sure all instruments are depicted correctly it is a lot of fun working on this little character. And this time I added some nice outdoor shots to the book. #illustration #kidlit #picturebook
