When #NY11 House Representative Nicole Malliotakis voted to defund my incandescent autistic son’s Medicaid, SNAP and other benefits yesterday, she forgot that I read this piece right in front of her office last week. Or she didn’t listen. thinkingautismguide.com/2025/05/medi...
Medicaid is life for my mostly non-speaking autistic son. Cutting it would remove the services that make his interdependent life possible.
