As a butch, that shit gets under my skin and makes me violently angry.
Masculine woman who doesn't wanna be masc, actually, and wants people to see her as a "normal" woman. Extra negative points if she gets more feminine (aka "fixed") after meeting the right guy.

I think it found that perfect sweet spot between comedy and horror. It does have that "So Quirky" dialogue I don't like, though... But, it could've been worse.
Also a nice surprise is just how queer it is. All the crew mates being genderless made me happy.
