Shovelling is such a bullshit concept, what happened to patience, like we're too good for the sun now? It gives us life it will take the snow, you cannot be impatient with a god
You might think, “but how will we know if student outcomes are improving without testing?” and the answer is that we must support and then trust our teachers. Teachers spend their lives working with and understanding students. Many of these regimes emerged out of not trusting teachers.
If Illinois wants thriving universities, stronger campuses, and students who can afford to finish what they start, we must fully and equitably fund public higher education, and raise the revenue to do it by asking the wealthiest and corporations to finally pay their fair share.
