Not to take anything away from this Spurs run, to be clear. As the 2 healthiest good teams are normally the last teams standing But the Thunder's injuries didn't get enough coverage, IMO

If Towns can just simply stay away from foul trouble, the Knicks will absolutely win one of the next 2 games. For the series, Towns is +12 overall and Robinson is -10. Clear as day at this point However, Wemby's at 40 minutes per game, Towns is just at 33 mpg. KAT has gotta stay on the court!!!!
I'll preface this by saying I'm a big De'Aaron Fox fan and have been since his 1 season at UK But I'm sorry, he's getting way too much blame for that loss today. Yes, he deserves criticism. But come on — the Spurs hit just 8 field goals in the 2nd half of an NBA Finals game. That's on all of them

The truth about that series is the Spurs truly won it because Jalen Williams played in just 2 games and Ajay Mitchell played in just 3 And that series still went down to the wire in a Game 7
The Josh Hart missed layup almost killed Larry David last night 😂😂😂
Without context, I don't think it's crazy for the Spurs to win 3 straight when 2 are at home and the crowd at MSG in Game 6 would be NERVOUS But add in the context that its the 2nd youngest team in NBA Finals history coming off the biggest choke job in Finals history....I dunno, man. I don't see it
I'm very curious moving forward on how much Mike Brown plays Alvarado at the same as Brunson It relieves so much pressure on Brunson when another ball-handler is out there. *But* you give up a lot on defense. Spurs choking offset it last night. Not sure it holds up in front of a San Antonio crowd
In this century, I’d have it as the 3rd best, with the potential to go higher if the Knicks win it all Game 7 in 2016 and Game 6 in 2013 (Ray Allen shot) rank slightly better. At No. 4, I’d go with Game 7 in 2010 between the Lakers and Celtics

Kawhi shot in the 2019 ECF is probably 5th

Okay I'm recovered, diving into the stats: - Spurs shot 43 threes in a game where they led by 29. That's inexcusable - Towns was +17 (!) and Mitchell Robinson was -14. That dichotomy continues to be the story of the Finals - Alvarado was +11. He took a lot of pressure off Brunson down the stretch
