When I was little I would get a blanket and drape it over two chairs. This then became my tardis, and the washing basket a Dalek. My Mum’s dressing gown transformed into the Doctor’s long coat and I would wrap my Dad’s scarf around it.
Simpler times, so many joyous adventures.

"I hope there are days when your coffee tastes like magic, your playlist makes you dance, strangers make you smile, and the night sky touches your soul. I hope there are days when you fall in love with being alive."

Sad to hear that there is no Christmas special for Doctor Who. I think that it will be back one day though, and ‘One day it will return’ 😀 I will always love the whole idea of a time traveller in a blue box adventuring in time&space. I will never forget those 70’s Saturday night episodes growing up.
Jim Cartwright is an amazing writer. We performed a reading of his play ‘Road’ during the acting course I completed with him. It was such an amazing thing to do. He tells the character’s stories so well, as the audience is invited to follow the narrator, Scullery, on his travels along the road.
To @bigfinish.bsky.social thanks for all the beautiful stories you produce and done with a lot of love ❤️
Growing up, my very first TV Doctor was Jon Pertwee. I will always love his Doctor, his velvet jackets, flowing capes and reversing the polarity of the neutron flow 😀❤️
