I don’t recommend this rabbit hole.
My 1990s-upbringing-disordered-eating was triggered by recent photos of Ariana Grande so I went down a rabbit hole about her life and like… that is a lot for anyone to handle, much less handling it in the spotlight. Kind of unsurprising that she’s in an extreme mental health situation.
I don’t know any women who grew up in the 90s who don’t have some kind of weird relationship to their bodies/food, but it seems just as bad right now, esp with GLP drugs being widely accessible.
