at this point I'd love to make it easier on both me and the marketing people: I will never want to integrate AI into my writing, my schedule-making, my grocery shopping, my health care decisions, my budgeting, my reading, or any other facet of my life. It is a waste of money to send me ads!!!

rabbit holes I will always fall into: - 3 hour video about a new ARG - viral post about a natural phenomenon (mushrooms, weather, etc) that doesn't sound correct - analysis of lost media or analog horror series - slightly off-sounding publishing spam/scam email - niche historical research for book

Recent niche historical research was learning how coroners worked in the 1890s! More info about London & New York than in Nova Scotia, but still got the gist of how it worked - and even got a scandal out of it! DYK as a political position, coroners weren't doctors? And they were paid by the case?

There's simply no world where I want the bad machine that drinks more water than I do in a day and lies to take over any portion of my cognitive load. I am that 10% "never going to convert" in change management theory. Do not bother with me anymore!! Leave me alone, I beg. Allow me the soft breezes.

don't be fooled, this is how they get you!! It starts with one book idea and before long you're a whole damn author. or so I've heard.

This new book's Big Questions: How do you face the unforgivable in your past? When does self-preservation begin to rot you? Is it worse to be the one that stayed or left? What does it mean to inherit something evil? How many lies does it take not to know yourself anymore? Very fun and chill book!
