Hunting for sources sometimes yield new exciting results - and sometimes an entry that sounds promising is mildly disappointing, as the published version of the book is already widely available. At least the illustrations are prettier, and with a better quality than in most online digitizations

As enticing as it sounds - unfortunately, it "only" contains an incomplete copy of the Libro de las Grandezas de la Espada by Luis Pacheco de Narváez, probably copied from the 1600 edition.
Wonderful article on the relation between #combat and #logic - relating Ralph Strode's Obligationes and the 14th century sword & buckler manuscript Ms. I.33 from the Royal Armouries. More academic work for #HEMA !
In the collection of the National Library of Portugal rests a 500pages long illustrated manuscript in spanish from the 17th century entitled "De la Verdadera #Destreza" - which sounds exciting for anyone fond of geometry and #HEMA (there are dozens of us !)
