In 2025 it was 26,000! 🎉

↑ 25,200 jobs vs. last month - all full-time
↑ 14,800 private sector jobs
↑ 7,200 youth jobs (2nd largest gain in 🇨🇦)
- Unemployment: 6.8% unchanged

We have a lot of major projects in BC that are coming online.
That’s why we're doubling our investment in skills training to $241 M to ensure more young people have the skills they need to seize these new opportunities.
Great to see some progress as a results of these policies.
We’re investing in the City of Delta’s Safe Seniors Community Project to help older adults feel more confident in emergencies, with community workshops, free emergency kits, and resources designed with seniors in mind.

• Asking rents are down 12.5% from 2023
• Vacancy rates are rising
• More options for renters, including ability to negotiate their rent
• 26,000+ purpose-built rentals registered in 2025
