Unusual 80s & 90s toys. Usual Transformers of all eras. Sharing pictures of my ridiculously huge toy collection & thoughts from my ridiculously tiny brain. Relive your childhood through the eyes of someone who never really left his…

1980s Kinder Surprise “Transformers” dump truck. Probably the weakest of the 4 designs in bot mode but the vehicle is nice & working dump bed is a lovely touch. The head is very Huffer-ish. There are several colour variants (mixes of red, green & yellow) though annoyingly I got 5 green ones as a kid
One of 4 Kinder Surprise “Transformers” from the late 80s (I named it Hornet as a kid). This funky lil jet was a lucky drop & came in kit form. once built made a surprisingly complex bot with balljoint arms & both conehead & non-conehead robot modes. It was available in multiple colour combinations
Been round the charity shops and picked up some Transformers tat and a super cool bendy neon vampire who appears to be wearing a bonnet (❤️)
1980s Kinder Surprise “Transformers” Mercedes van. Doubt they licensed the cheeky badge. Shares the same torso & wheels as the dump truck though it transforms completely differently. Rather ambitiously it had opening back doors though I broke them off when I was little. Best head sculpt of the bunch

“She won’t get by us this time!” (She will, in fact, get by them)
If you count the visor as a single eye they’ve almost got the right number of eyes between them
Today in charity shop hunting - Bag of random Imaginext with G1 Transformers, Action Force & vintage Star Wars spares mixed in. Random, but welcome
I never know what to do with the maroon Man-E-Weapons that came with some special Man-E-Faces (& supposedly “Wonderbread” He-Man). I don’t really like them with Man-E plus he can’t hold many (or Man-E) & I don’t have Savage He-Man. Fortunately I had a brainwave… Horde Troopers! #mastersoftheuniverse
Transformers Titans Return Grotusque with Fengul meets the original Battle Beasts Sabre Sword/Platinum Tiger. An inspired paring of sabretoothed… things
Transformers Titans Return Repugnus & Dastard meet Battle Beasts Prickly Porcupine/Hedgehog! Bastard meets dastard as Repugnus binary bonds with the suitably mean-looking porcupine/hedgehog (depends on continuity). Nice to see Hasbro can still use Battle Beasts if they want - now use them more!

Masters of the Universe Man-E-Faces! As a kid I changed his backstory from actor to soldier (inspired by the sergeant stripe details on his arms) who was fused with a robot/monster & needed the suit for control. The image of his feral monster form pounding on the Widget’s door really stuck with me

A Twinferno of Doublecrossing! Titans Return/Legends featured the surprising return of Battle Beasts in the form of partners for the Monsterbots. Here’s Hasbro Titans Return Twinferno & Daburu vs Takara Legends DoubleCross & White Leo with the original Battle Beasts Pirate Lion caught in the middle!
