Good on @toronto.ca for increasing docking station for BikeShare. Yes the #WorldCup is a factor but just giving people more options to park from their east end in starting point (road with a person who started at Withrow Park a few days ago) is a huge bonus.

This kind of mixed use project is something that more cities should be looking at! There is a similar redesign happening at Curtis Apartments in Worcester, with an expansion of housing, a new library with an economic development center, and bigger Boys and Girls Club. www.dhkinc.com/project/curt...
Sometimes, bike lanes aren’t going to lead to more use. They may make the existing five riders per day safer on that road. That’s worth something in the tradeoff analysis.
