Most US viewers were likely confused by the power lines act and accompanying song, "El Apagón," in Bad Bunny's halftime show, but not Puerto Rican or Puerto Rican-American viewers or their relatives who were subjected to Hurricane Maria's power blackout aftermath in 2017, the worst in US history.

Maria caused an estimated 4645 "excess deaths"
largely due medical disruptions in part caused by the blackout, and this was not just a climate disaster but also a man-made disaster because climate-vulnerable places need fewer power lines to fix...
and more distributed energy like rooftop solar and battery storage. But Trump in typically corrupt, reactionary, or just thoughtless fashion has now pulled the plug on $1 billion in congressionally authorized energy resilience funding for PR, including for backup power systems for hospitals.
