I'm at a philosophy conference and everyone is asking me about my novel and when it's coming out in English so they can read it. Like COME ON agents and publishers, I ALREADY HAVE AN AUDIENCE! Even though I have a hard time explaining the novel as "the next X" where X is an already popular title.
