Here it is:
Three months after Ottawa removed its automatic safety cameras, the share of drivers following the speed limit plunged from 87% to 41%(!). "High-end speeding" is up 10x. Automatic enforcement saves lives. If you remove it, people will die.
#ottbike @shawnmenard.bsky.social Can you explain the choice to remove the protected part of this protected intersection? You have created a huge sideswipe risk for anyone cycling here taking a right turn from Main.

Drivers: “Usually from the east end to the west end it would take me about 15 minutes, but it took me around 25 with traffic. Hopefully it gets wrapped up soon.” City: We're on it! Transit riders: "It takes me nearly two hours to make that same trip." City: 🦗🦗🦗🦗

We had a great turnout at our book club yesterday to discuss Human Transit, thanks to all who came out, and to Derrick for leading the discussion! There was so much thoughtful discussion about how best to provide transit, should transit be free, and balancing priorities like ridership vs coverage!

A new report from the City of Ottawa says a new tax levy could help fill an infrastructure funding gap, though it stops short of explicitly recommending the idea.
