We like to tell stories.
We write, we design, we develop, we build - we simply love to create new tales in any way enjoyable. And we want others to be able to do the same!

On working with your Beta-Readers:
Absence of feedback on a scene isn't the same as the scene working. Readers will tell you what they noticed. They can't always tell you what they didn't notice - and that can sometimes be more important information.

On working with your Beta-Readers:
Remember that no reader can tell you whether to take their note. Because feedback is a starting point, even if they declare a fix. You're allowed to understand a note completely and still decide it's not the right fix for your story.

Sometimes the great ones take time. Daniel Defoe published Robinson Crusoe at age 59. J.R.R. Tolkien published The Hobbit at age 45. Laura Ingalls Wilder published the first Little House book at age 65. Don't get yourself down about how long we write!

Thinking on how we treat the time it takes to create our stories:
"Masterpieces are not single and solitary births; they are the outcome of many years of thinking in common."
-- Virginia Woolf

Thinking on how we edit and refine our writing before setting them to the world:
"[...] The most valuable of all talents, that of never using two words where one will do."
-- Thomas Jefferson
