It reads like the kind of theory you create when you look at it from out of state and analyze it like a cult rather than a christian denomination (which idk if i can blame them for tbh)
One thing I'll add is that I don't really buy the angle of "they're all collaborating on the basis that they're Mormons" that Ben was pushing because that's like, ~50% of the population in that city, I would honestly be surprised if their religion had anything to do with it.

like the way they highlighted "Bingham High School" as evidence of one of the cops being Mormon - it's just a public school. It's named after a copper mine, but they probably confused the name with Brigham Young.
