Today marks 82 years since D-Day.
Remarkably, many of the Wehrmacht soldiers defending the Normandy beaches were Czech - mostly from the Hlučín area of Moravian Silesia.
So that infamous scene at the start of Saving Private Ryan is 100% accurate.
