The 9th EIROforum School on Instrumentation, hosted by EMBL and ILL took place in Grenoble, France, last week.
The programme included theoretical and practical activities led by EIROforum experts, with a particular focus on the role of artificial intelligence in large-scale scientific research.

A tenuous stream of stars and gas — a tidal tail — can be seen stretching outwards from this elliptical galaxy. Delicate galactic features such as tidal tails and stellar streams are hallmarks of galactic interactions.

A Sparkling Spray of Stars ✨
About 2600 light-years from Earth lies NGC 2264. The dazzling star at the top is a massive multiple star system that only emerged from the dust and gas a few million years ago.
