Two and a half weeks of various train journeys in Japan and we had ONE 3 minute delay which they apologised profusely for... Plus the seats are so uncomfortable in German ICE??

Of all the places I've been in Japan so far Osaka is the absolute worst to navigate, especially around Osaka station x'D I almost crashed out last night trying to find a Yoshinoya. Even Google maps got confused every 5 minutes...
My family, who I'm playing tour guide for here in Japan, have somewhat unexpectedly become Kombini fiends! We're working our way through all the different drinks and snacks and I'm loving it!
I want to cry. Back in Germany and immediately my train has at least a 35min delay because apparently there are trains in both directions on the same track and no one can tell us how much longer it will take... I just want to go home and sleeeep. 🫠
They play smooth Jazz at restaurants and places like that because it's supposed to be calm and pleasant background noise, right?
Why do I find it incredibly distracting and annoying hghhh...
