Bananas got his banana tonight. When I see tapirs on the security cameras right before sunrise, I know that they are sleeping somewhere near the house and that they will come and visit me before the sun sets. Sure, enough my buddy came and said hi.

The young male tapir came by tonight and was whistling at me to come out and give him a banana. He decided to just come up the stairs and look for me. Unfortunately, I'm not at the house right now so no luck for him this afternoon.

We are fortunate to have black terns nesting around many of our marshes. They seem to think they are swallows as they are incredible acrobats and catch bugs on the wing!
