#KidLitArtPostcard is turning 5! Love this month’s theme: You, as a kid. When I was little, I adored pig soft toys. The problem was, they were surprisingly hard to find. Toy shops were full of teddy bears and dolls. Eventually, I was given my first own piggy, and it stayed with me for many years!

My kiddos' school is reading Kate DiCamillo and Julie Morstad's "The Puppets of Spelhorst" for this year's 1 Book, 1 School.
A group of us grown-ups are working with the school librarian to pique the students' curiosity with our very own mysterious "Spelhorst" trunk and puppets!
