I will also say that while it I had to place money on the primary I would probably bet on Platner right now but (1) state primary polling isn’t great and (2) people seem to underrate the possibility that he’s got worse skeletons in the closet or catastrophically shits the bed

I again think that you can feel whatever way about Mills that you want to feel but I do not think that Senate leadership’s decision to recruit an incumbent 2-teen governor who can’t run again is something that requires a lot of psychological or ideological explanation
