An interesting insight into why UKRI calls often have short timescales. I'm working towards a ridiculously tight deadline now, and wonder whether there is also an element of "demand management" here, where less time = fewer applications for UKRI to handle? Either way, it's not fair on applicants.

The race course includes running alongside the largest glacier in the Alps - the Aletsch Glacier, so in the workshop we explored glacier change and its impacts in Switzerland and around the world, and discussed what glaciers can teach us about endurance and building a solid base! ❄️🏃♀️ (2/4)
