For the garden side of this page. Early June is rather quiet, just wild foxglove (I haven’t planted them, they’re everywhere) and snow peas in bloom.
Koi are taped and ready for soldering. Whiskers looked more like fangs…so no whiskers.
Eyes? What do you think? Eyes or no eyes?
Cutting is finished.
Been scanning my 94 yo mothers stack of recipes. She would make this at Easter. It’s delicious!
She’s slowly declining from Alzheimer’s. This exercise is bringing back so many memories of her original, strong, capable self. Very emotional.
Mountain Laurels in bloom
Trying something new to use up some old glass. I’m not the most precise when it comes to tight geometric designs…I’m more the free flowing lines kind of gal. Still I’m happy with the outcome.

Also for my daughter. Finished cutting these koi today. At solder stage I’ll add eyes and whiskers. The “water” is clear streaky… it’s sitting on a brown work surface.

I made the bee for my daughter last summer. Her cats knocked it over and it broke in three places. Took it all apart and reinvented the bee in a floral scape. Started with a basic sketch but am winging it mostly.

Finished the bee.
