Frankly I just do not understand why some modern-day Midas is on the news every time he touches some other object that turns to gold... why the obsession with wealth ... a golden grave immortality does not confer... his ass's ears confirms what is widely known... he even shares the M surname !

I reposted this a few days ago, and have been meaning to follow up. This is an article about a sixth century copy of vol 6 of 論語疏 (Ch: lunyu shu; Jp: rongo so), a commentary on Confucius' Analects that was largely lost in China, that has resurfaced in Japan.

On my quest to decipher the seal stamps in the books I work with, I’ve started studying seal script by copying the 說文解字 and have returned to Oracle Bone Script 甲骨文. A few days ago, I came across 丁輔之’s 商卜文集聯, which made studying 甲骨文 really fun! (1/5) #ChinaBooks

The original edition does not inculude the Hanzi, which the QP Revised Edition will for titles & poems. Hence the rather laborious slow task of bringing this title out...

For the QP edition I'm tempted to add both a list of poem titles in the ToC (with pp. Ref for both sequence of the Poetic Works section & Notes to that section) PLUS an ABC finding list that lists all poems
