This isn’t from the DoD. There’s no evidence whatsoever that the new Religious Affiliation Codes “classify Orthodox Judaism as a type of Orthodox Christianity” or classify Reform Judaism as Christian.
Joel should delete and issue a correction. At this point it’s just spreading misinformation.

The new Department of Defense faith codes list also classifies Orthodox Judaism as a type of Orthodox Christianity and "Reformed Judaism" as a type of Reformed Christian, while classifying Messianic Jews as a type of Judaism.
