Excellent article not just about Graham Street station but about the larger failure of Sound Transit’s “enterprise initiative.” It’s a failure on par with the rejection of the Forward Thrust rail initiatives in 1968 and 1970.

Buried in Sound Transit news today is a report to the Rider Experience board committee outlining that the Fare Ambassador Program is not going well. Roughly 40% of riders do not pay and of riders who admit to fare evading, 60% refuse to show ID and are thus not issued a warning.
