So, for clarity, I am running the exact same mods on both machines, and it was the laptop where I saw the scene. I have now done everything the same on *both* machines and have not been able to get the same scene again. We're back to convincing Astarion not to do the rite & I have changed *NOTHING*
So now I'm gaslighting myself like...did I dream this scene into being??🤣 I would have sworn that the difference was going to be that I'm running something on my laptop that's slightly different from my desktop, but nope.
Remember this scene the next time a corporate reporter tries to insist that a rural diner full of white men in their 60s is somehow a more authentically "American" place, somehow more representative of who we are as a nation.
