This is absolutely heartbreaking. I was just telling my Visual Storytelling students about her work not even 2 weeks ago! — how important it is (especially in this day and age), the simple yet effective way she did her lineart, and why Persepolis is a sequential work of art. RIP Marjane Satrapi

I have done almost no publicity for my own work in a bit on account of *recalls the past few months* BUT I’m gonna pick it back up because they’re pretty good comics, and I hope more people enjoy them!
