ADDENDUM: @lmhaertel.bsky.social caught another inconsistency across the different versions of the Joint Declaration that I missed. And even so, I think our perspectives on the question of language overlap a lot. If you read Portuguese, make sure to check out her piece as well!

The German version contains the idea of exchange of fossils between 🇧🇷 & 🇩🇪 (in red) that does not exist in the original. Thus, it suggests a narrative of two countries merely sending scientific resources to one another voluntarily and under conditions of equality, which is absolutely not true. [6/13]
