I just deleted a post about using home freezers to kill parasites in fish - I was thinking of pork, but it turns out that some fish-based parasites are pretty hardy when it comes to cold temperatures :-(

I had gotten my numbers for trichinella in pork, but it seems that it varies by parasite, and some of the fish-based ones are hardier in the cold than others :-(
