Who votes by mail? Deployed service members. Nurses working a double shift on Election Day. Farmers who lives far from a polling place. Elderly veterans who can't drive. Caregivers who have to stay home. Voters with disabilities, and military families stationed overseas. 3/3
Every American, no matter who you're voting for, should be able to exercise the right to vote free of fear, should be able to do it joyfully. That is what Project HALO is trying to do. We're combatting fear with joy. Voting is more than a duty It's a privilege.

There's a lot of talk about election processes -- and particularly about voting by mail. Many active duty military and their families need to mail in their ballots when they are deployed. Restrictions on mail in ballots could mean they can't vote. We know this about elections ⬇️

Mail voting helps eligible Americans have a voice even when service, distance, age, disability, or caregiving makes it hard to vote in person. Eligible voters must be able to cast a ballot lawfully and have confidence that it will be counted accurately. 2/3
